Any time I think of this film it's always Faye Dunaway, she's simply beautiful in every frame. And her wardrobe for Bonnie and Clyde was brilliant.

I have berets in every colour. Wear them all the time. RIP Gene Hackman.. "Don't sell that cow."

If you ever have a chance to see this movie in a theatre or on a big screen, do it. The cinematography made me weep. Beatty and Dunaway were both at the peak of their beauty Costumes:perfect. Editing: perfect. Music: perfect. A cinematic masterpiece for the ages.

I was 12 years old in 1967. My dad forbade me from seeing this movie because he said it glorified violence. That only made me more determined to see it. There were two movie theatres downtown and one of them was showing Bonnie and Clyde. The other theatre was across the street and it was showing a Disney film. I told my dad one Sunday afternoon that I wanted to see the Disney movie so he dropped me off there. After he left, I walked across the street and went in to see Bonnie and Clyde. When the movie was over, I called home and said I was ready to be picked up. The only problem was, I was so enraptured by Bonnie and Clyde that I couldn't make myself leave the theatre. I continued watching the next showing and by the time I finally got out of there, my dad was waiting in front of the Disney theatre. To make matters worse, he saw me leaving the theatre across the street that was showing Bonnie and Clyde. I got in big trouble for that.

I recently read Blanche Barrows autobiography and really enjoyed it! She was so down to earth and realistic and at the same time, very reflective and remorseful.
Her actual involvement with the Barrow gang was really only about 5-6 months. She had the unfortunate luck of hooking up with Buck Barrow and he dragged her into that mess!.........
I recommend it!
