The Journey Beyond the Dental Chair | Dr. Saba Parveen | 02

What if the profession you build years later begins with the things you were taught, the values you carried, and the choices you made along the way? For Dr. Saba, the journey began long before she had her own dental practice. Growing up in Calcutta, she was raised in a home where education, discipline, sharing and ethics were deeply valued. A childhood filled with studies, doctor sets and the influence of her family slowly shaped the path she would eventually take. But becoming a dentist was only the beginning. After completing her BDS and pursuing fellowships in Endodontics and Laser Dentistry, Dr. Saba returned to Calcutta and began working across multiple clinics. Long days, back-to-back patients and years of experience eventually gave her the confidence to take a leap of faith and build a practice of her own. But what happens when a dentist becomes an entrepreneur? What does it take to build a clinic from scratch, earn the trust of patients and make decisions where ethics matter more than money? And what happens when being young and a woman makes people question your expertise before they know your work? In this episode of Human Behind The Brand, we sit down with Dr. Saba Parveen, dental surgeon and entrepreneur, to explore the experiences that shaped her journey — from childhood and dentistry to entrepreneurship, patient trust, ethics and the changing world of dental care.
