Cool piece of equipment however without any form of GPS mapping and not sure if it exists but it would've atleast been an amazing feature to have a signal measuring distance between the boat and monitor in meters/yards on the screen. This way while fishing at medium to long range in larger open waters could be much more accurate during night time when navigating back to previously baited little area such as a plateau at 80M distance. It'd be just a matter of simply remembering a form of object across the lake on the other side, send the boat out in a straight line as much as possible and from here around the 80M distance mark only remains the smallest search for your previously spotted plateau before you empty the loader.

in regards to the batteries for the boat itself, how many 200m trips would the batteries be able to handle on 1 charge in fair conditions?
I am trying to decide if back up batteries will be necessary for weekend trips or maybe some kind of charging on the trip.

Hey, first time with one of these,
How do you determine if the bottom is clear or silt , or are you just looking for flat spots ??
