  i collected as a kid and have a bunch of cards from the 2012-2018 area, i also got a binder of the older set cards (the gym leaders, some fossil and other cards from that era) but im just wondering if i could go to a local shop to just get a priceout on a lot of the cards? ive never tried to sell them but some of the cards are worth thousands in high grade

  How do you know all of this ? <br><br>I don’t think they released a statement on all of the sets . Make sure to do a video after all is said and done in the future . Everyone keeps saying 30th is going to tank lol when though lol

  I waited 1.5hrs for the EB Games drop. The manager told us the guy behind me would get the last 30th product based on the limits. Then I waited the extra time, and then the girl in front of me got the last single sticker collection. RIP ME

  over printing is the easiest way to kill the hobby. You need only look at yugioh for an example. There is a reason no one collects the common cards. When the rares become commons there is no reason to collect them.

  Artificial scarcity, nebulous value speculation/evaluation, impossible/tedious liquidation, 99% of cards being worthless, supply is completely controlled by the Pokémon company, demand is based on nostalgia with no popularity guarantee of the IP in 10 years, a circular economy where the commodity has no inherit utility as cardboards. Anyone with some financial literacy can see that IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN A HORRIBLE INVESTMENT, its volatility is worst than crypto! The actual target audiences, being kids, are priced out thanks to all these &quot;investors&quot;. Pokémon TCG as a whole is just silly at this point with all these &quot;kidults&quot; who can&apos;t afford a mortgage and so they dump their income on toys for kids.
