More and more card collectors that have been around for a while are starting to agree that card grading is almost a scam. Inconsistent grades, fake cards being graded as authentic, real cards getting marked as fake, microscopic differences making huge differences in final grade.

The bigger sales of these cards, such as the sales that make the news, are probably just insider sales to boost hype, or old-fashioned money laundering like with art. <br><br>The other aspect is cultivating new gambling addicts and fleecing current addicts. Make gambling quicker, easier, and more appealing and accessible to young people.
