  I thought prices were expensive in 2021 with the covid and logan paul boom but this year has been insanity. My only regret is I wish I held on to a few slabs till this year like my rayquaza psa 10 lottery promo 2010 that I got for $1400 now it's like $50k+.  I'm stepping back from buying anything except for sealed at this point.

  eh I think it's also because of how expensive modern cards are if a modern card is 50,000 with a pop of 10,000. A vintage card with the pop of 20 can be 200,000

  I remember when it was front page news when the Base Charizard in a 10 sold for $400k. Then the Blastoise test with the MTG back. Then Logan Paul’s illustrator Pikachu. Now something new reaches those prices every day or week and it doesn’t even make a story

  I bought lotad and lombre EX deoxys reverse 10's (single digit pops I think?) a few years ago for $80 each. I reckon they'd now consign for $6k each looking at the other set's reverses. Vintage is nuts.
