6:58 In the live version, at this point, Anne actually loses her cool and screams at the other queens ‘NO, HE’S ACTUALLY GONNA CHOP OFF MY HEAD, YOU GUYS’, Before she realizes how heavy what she says is, then makes a raunchy joke before launching into the chorus again

 Not-so-fun historical fact:
Anne Boleyn’s ladies in waiting actually had to hide and protect her body after her execution as they were worried about what the men would do with her corpse… Yikes 🫥

So Anne Boleyn was actually accused of having an affair with a few partners, one of which being her brother or cousin. And I believe all that she was accused of having an affair with was executed along with her, just before her execution. She also only gave Henry a daughter so he wasn’t pleased with that. She did go to her death with dignity, but everything that happened to Anne and Katherine of Aragon we’re all because of one person (name is escaping me at the moment) who was kind of manipulating Henry in the background by dripping poison in his ear. But the whole thing with separating from the church, that was all just to marry Anne. But it caused such an uproar. If I recall correctly, during Anne’s time ruling, Jane Seymour was her lady and waiting, and she was known as “plain Jane”. But her quiet and timid nature is what made her catch Henry’s eye.

4 of Henry’s wives were English , Anne included. She was just sent to France as a lady in waiting for the French court. For years Anne was depicted as a vixen, temptress, seducer who stole the king away but betrayed him leading to her execution. In reality I think she played a dangerous game, making promises she couldn’t guarantee to fulfil ( mainly she would give birth to a son, although a couple of her unsuccessful pregnancies were boys). She was executed on trumped up charges, most of which were unfounded due to lack of proof.

Her only ‘crime’ was that she didn’t have a living male child and it would seem bad on Henry’s part to divorce the very same woman he changed the country for to marry. The only criticism of her I would say is that she was too smart for her own good and while it was perfect as the Kings mistress, it was not a good look for a royal wife. She wasn’t totally innocent, she apparently treated Catherine of Aragon and her daughter Mary badly. In the end she got the best revenge. Her daughter with Henry, Elizabeth, became one of the most famous monarchs in British History ruling nearly as long as her father and two half siblings combined and has an Age named for her.

The writers of this show said that they would have written this song differently now that there is more knowledge about Anne so see this song as what we think of initially of Anne’s personality but with a hint of vulnerability when it all comes crashing down.

The worst part about her execution is that the first swing didn’t cut her head off, it took a few swings

Anne did have a few pregnancies, like catherine only one of her children lived to adulthood. Elizabeth 1 was anne boleyn's daughter. The pregnancy that sealed anne's fate was the one she lost during henry's famous jousting accident. Where henry gets severely hurt and she's very stressed and caused her to miscarry. The baby would have been a boy.

For the song "all you wanna do" can you please do the live version it really shows the depth and emotions in the song better than the studio version.
