Dune Awakening Update 1.5: Solo Mode, Deep Desert & Filmic Archive DLC

Dune: Awakening Update 1.5 changes the game significantly – especially if you want to experience Arrakis completely on your own. The new Solo Mode is not simply an empty multiplayer server. It is a separate single-player experience with massively customizable rules, full Deep Desert access, Exchange, Landsraad and much more freedom for base building. How strong should enemies be? How quickly do you want to earn XP? How many resources should you get? Should crafting and building cost less – or nothing at all? Sandworms, sandstorms, heat, thirst, the Coriolis Storm, structural stability, building limits and even no-build zones can all be adjusted. For builders, this is especially interesting: up to 10 Fiefdoms, massively increased building limits, zero building costs and infinite structural stability can turn Dune: Awakening into something surprisingly close to a Creative Mode Light. We also take a look at how the Deep Desert works in Solo Mode, why there are no weekly wipes anymore, how Exchange and Landsraad have been adapted for single-player, what the mode means for Steam Deck players and everything included in the new Filmic Archive DLC. 🚀 Start Star Citizen + 50,000 UEC Bonus: https://bit.ly/464nngS 🎮 Twitch: Twitch: Karolinger 🎁 XXL Star Citizen Giveaways: https://bit.ly/3QBtGTw 📚 Guides & Tutorials: https://bit.ly/3MvC5Xc 👾 Discord: Discord: discord 📌 IN THIS VIDEO • The new Dune: Awakening Single Player mode • Separate Solo character alongside your Multiplayer character • Three presets or completely custom settings • Customize XP, resources and progression • Reduce crafting and building costs all the way to zero • Adjust resource and loot respawn rates • Customize heat, thirst and durability • Change enemy health, damage, shields and stamina • Enable or disable sandworms and sandstorms • Customize the Coriolis Storm • Change settings at any time during your playthrough • Base Building as a Creative Mode Light • Up to 10 Fiefdoms • Massively increase the Building Piece Limit • Set structural stability to infinite • Change No-Build Zones and other building restrictions • Full Deep Desert access in Single Player • No more weekly Deep Desert wipes • Permanent bases in the Deep Desert • PvE and PvP Deep Desert instances in Multiplayer • Exchange adapted into a Solo vendor • Landsraad with simulated factions • Arrakeen and Harko Village in Single Player • Additional Solo changes • Steam Deck and the new Single Player experience • Filmic Archive DLC • Movie-inspired armor from Dune: Part One and Part Two • New Sardaukar outfits and weapon skins • 73 Sardaukar building pieces • 17 Sardaukar decorations • Why Update 1.5 could bring former players back ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS 00:00 Intro 00:05 Update 1.5 – What's New? 00:49 The New Single Player Mode 01:39 Custom Settings – Your Own Arrakis 02:57 Customize Survival & Combat 04:04 Base Building Goes Creative 05:41 Deep Desert Without Weekly Wipes 07:08 Exchange & Landsraad in Single Player 08:31 Steam Deck & More Solo Changes 09:32 Filmic Archive DLC 11:39 Final Thoughts – Who Is 1.5 For? 13:25 Outro 💬 Would you start Dune: Awakening again in Single Player after Update 1.5?
