  New console pleb here and love having one oc my favorite sci fi stories in game form i hope they intend to keep adding mechanics that feel lore worthy such as hiding beneath the sands fremen style and yes sand walking even if it is "boring" having a slow but careful way to cross large sand areas even on sort of an "auto drive" function would be nice even if most would rather just drive being someone who likes to roleplay its just an option for us. New map sounds fun but hope it doesn't stop them from adding new desert areas as well as arrakis is arrakis. Just really getting into the swing of things and learning but i can see me making plenty of memories with this game.

  If they approach this community event wisely, they could use it as a testing ground for new features, such as a limited-time PvP arena or buggy races with weapons, or anything else to gauge engagement for future implementation.

  Hopefully we get some more pvp content like dueling arenas or guild wars soon. The on foot pvp is a blast and i hope it gets expanded on

  They should make pvp matchmaking modes, now I know that might get hate but having a tdm mode in a separate instance would be pretty cool

  Please note that your base will be wiped in both pve and pvp versions of Deep Desert in MULTIPLAYER but in SINGLE player  "the map never resets and your buildings are never wiped" according to patch notes

  In Single player mode the Coriolis storm hits Hagga once ever couple hours of gameplay and nodes don&apos;t shift. The Coriolis <b>will</b> kill you if you are outside some kind of shelter especially if you get hit by lightning! How this works in the Single Player DD I have yet to discover.

  Just started at the 22nd September on PS5 as a new player but i never played a game so long in a row. Daily 8-10 hours (yeah ... no real RL since a long time due to illness...), But just the Singleplayer at the moment to get into Arrakis. It.´s soooo great! Especially as a great DUNE Fan! Awesome work by Funcom.<br>A few flaws here and there. <br>-Mostly i find the Controller Gameplay very disappointing. Weapon Switch or Healing is a real pain sometimes. Other games with a similar gameplay (i.E: Once Human) did this better.<br>-Also i find some Settlements and bases that were completely empty. No NPCs wander around doing things. <br>But the world, exploration and atmosphere outweigh these things a lot!<br>Another thing what &nbsp;i really like is the absence of Battle Passes, Ingame Shops, Login BS, etc... BIG PLUS!<br><br>Thanks for the update!
