  In my head that 62 plate Mondeo is still fairly modern and new. The styling on those has aged well.

  Never been so excited to see a youtube video as its got my car on it! Im happy you saved it as it drives great.<br>Got it booked in for a cambelt and water pump in 2 weeks and have a stereo upgrade on the way for android auto. If you ever wanna do a follow up video on it just let me know!<br>Edit: I was the customer who bought the car from HPA. I didnt sell it to them.

  I&apos;ve just bought a 63 plate 2.0tdci top spec for £1900. It&apos;s done 110k and has fsh. Bit rough round the edges. Given it a good clean, some tlc and it&apos;s become our family holiday car now. Comfortable and quiet and returns 60+ mpg on a run. <br><br>It&apos;s a shame these cars are dying off. Excellent cars and highlights the severe nature of people&apos;s obsession with new cars and lease cars when these will run for years. <br><br>£20 a year tax too!

  We have a 2008 2.0 Titanium as a spare car/van in work and its well over 300k miles and still as reliable as the day it came out of the showroom. They can be kept running indefinitely. And despite what people think about the quality of life in teh UK in the 2020s, there are still working people who are literally living week to week and still buy these cars for £2-3k and less. These old bangers still take a man to work every day and feed his family.
