There's NOTHING compared to listening to a nerd going off on his field of knowledge. It's like a massage for the ears and brain. Great upload. Thank you very much.

the word josh dances around when describing boss is "utilitarian". the appeal isnt in aesthetics, but in its availability & thoughtful design.

As a Brazilian guitarist, being able to easily buy the exact same legendary pedals that the biggest icons in music use is why I respect Boss so much. True legends made accessible to everyone.

As a Roland employee I am super happy to see those stories shared. Not to hype the brand but they are important stories about the music culture we live today. Thank you!

I live in Kansas City and I have met several of the people from JHS, including Josh. They are just as kind and friendly as they seem. Great pedals made by great people!

The British term is "It does exactly what it says on the tin" (from an old Ronseal ad campaign for wood sealant)

Boss is the ultimate working touring musicians pedal.
You can find them anywhere.
They all sound amazing.
They’re super rugged, like you have to go out of your way to break them.
And many of your favorite records and artists have used them.

Boss is an amazing pedal company.

The word that kept striking me is ‘definitive’. Boss are always aiming to make the ‘definitive’ version of a pedal for a given effect. Not weird or kooky, but rock solid, exactly spot on. Which some might see as boring, but it also means it’s the benchmark from which everything else gets compared. It’s a good niche to occupy.
