I think J Rockett owns drive pedals. The Archer and Blue Note Select are insanely good.

This is such a great pedal nerd video. The reason certain pedals are not mentioned is because mason makes it clear that these are his favorites! I have the analogman phase 90 with the mix control. Very nice

One thing I like about the Greer Lightspeed is the way they've updated the classic elements with modern component improvements. Most manufacturers would slap the least expensive dual op-amp into that circuit (probably a TL072) and call it a day, but the Lightspeed uses the OPA 2134, a much better chip designed for hi-fi audio, despite the higher individual component cost. I would have to guess that philosophy extends to the other components they use- carefully selected and likely measured to ensure tight tolerances.

For me, it was Prescription Electronics in the early 90s that opened the door to effects like the Experience pedal, which 4 many years was a secret weapon of choice for recreating Hendrix sounds. <br>This pedal had a setting that could make a twin combo sound like an exploding Plexi.<br> I can't remember the wording, but it came with a warning about damaging your speakers,<br> definitely very cool to "experience"
