  Duke Snider, although in the HOF, is a very underrated player. He still has the record for National League homeruns in the World Series play with 11. He is still the only player to hit 4 homeruns, twice, in World Series play. He is one of the few MLB players to hit 40, or more homeruns 5 years in a row. And, look this up, in head-to-head World Series play, the Duke outhit Mickey Mantle in every offensive category! And, from 1950~1959 this is where the Duke rated in every offensive category for the entire MLB. This includes every player, for all 16 teams then in both leagues. <br>Homeruns #1 <br>RBI’s #1 <br>Sacrifice hits #1 <br>Runs scored #2 <br>Doubles #2 <br>Hits #2 <br>Total Bases #2 <br>Extra Base Hits #2 <br>WRC #2 <br>Triples #3 <br>On Base % #3 <br>Slugging #3 <br>Intentional Walks #3 <br>At Bats #3 <br>Plate Appearances #3 <br>Games Played #3 <br>Stolen Bases #4 <br>Batting Average #6 <br>Walks #7 <br> <br>Again, this is over an entire decade, every team, every player.   I saw them play at Roosevelt Stadium in jersey city. We walked to the game.

  I met Duke Snider in 2002. He is such an amazing person to talk to. I got an autographed bat ball from him, and it&apos;s the most prized piece in my Dodgers Collection. I only paid $27 for the bat, and he signed it. At that time, Duke owed money to the IRS, so he lowered his autograph prices to pay off his debut fast. &nbsp;It was sad the IRS was trying to ruin him.

  In his autobiography, Duke said that on his Navy ship, when he was assigned dishwashing, he&apos;d fire the dishes out the porthole into the deep &nbsp;blue sea! My man! &nbsp;I&apos;m a former sailor.

  I was at the last Brooklyn Dodgers game at Ebbets field with my late father &amp; late grand uncle who lived 2 miles from Ebbets field in the Russian section of Bay Ridge. My late mother was born in the Borough of Brooklyn in the Norwegion section of Bay Ridge. Both sets of my grandparents &amp; parents, my late wife of 31 years who was from the Phil I ppines were all Dodgers fans &amp; I&quot;m a lifelong Dodgers fan. The Dodgers is my favorite baseball team.

  Nice video , 77 years old don&apos;t remember too much about Brooklyn Dodgers or New York Giants seems like their fans really loved their teams. Now &nbsp;just a sad story too bad they didn&apos;t let them build a new domed stadium .

  Wow, even though they made a mistake on purpose with their taxes ,them days were so much better than these ugly days of today, if you just go back in time you will see how evil the world has become.And then just maybe you will believe what the Bible says and turn to the Lord.

  The dodgers have spent more years in LA than they did in Brooklyn at this point. &nbsp;Few alive today ever saw the Brooklyn team. It&apos;s nice nostalgia, but that&apos;s about it. &nbsp;I&apos;ll give the Dodgers (Branch Rickey) credit for changing the face of America by bringing Jackie Robinson up to the majors in 1947. &nbsp; &nbsp;After that, the only thing you can say about today&apos;s dodgers is they have lots of money and like the Yankees it gives them a credible team every year. &nbsp;The reality is they spend twice as much as everyone else and the results are still not much better than everyone else.
