Tbf the amount of suffering Guts had to go through while dragging Casca alongside him when she was in her regressed state as Elaine is true love and compassion

The best romance is the story of intimacy between The Masked man and Berserk

To be fair, Berserk is technically a love triangle. Guts loves Casca, Griffith loves Guts, Casca loves both. Griffith behaves like a jealous high school girl that throws a tantrum seeing their crush choose another girl over them.

People hate Griffith so much that they forget they loved him so much in the first.

Really sucks that Guts had to leave Griffith on his knees, shame all over his face, and sword limp in his hand. If Griffith could just be honest and tell Guts what he wanted, maybe Guts wouldn't have been so rough with him.

🥵

Imagine Mirua telling Kojimori he used him as inspiration for Griffith, then Miura writes the Eclipse.

“Yes, the eclipse happens essentially because Guts wants to be Griffith’s friend, and Griffith was being a little tsundere twink who wouldn’t admit that he saw Guts as a friend all along.”

Peak analysis right here 👌

beserk would be the worlds happiest story if there was one time where griffith and guts talked to eachother about their feelings
