I wish there was special classes for women with ADHD to help us learn how to use it as a super power because I have been struggling so much my whole life and I don't know how to use it to my advantage. It holds me back more than anything. :/

Such an insightful conversation ADHD isn’t about laziness or lack of discipline, but understanding how your brain works. 🧠💛

One thing I've learned is that understanding your brain changes everything. Once you stop fighting your ADHD and start building systems that work with it, life becomes so much less exhausting.

One thing I liked about Clara Hartley’s anxiety quiz is that the result didn’t pretend everything could be fixed with one simple habit. It seemed more focused on identifying patterns and showing why certain coping strategies might suit some people better than others.

I really love having conversations with people that think in scattered ways also because I feel like we can cover a whole lot of topics very quickly but also deeply. That's the reason whenever you get to ADHD folks together it's a lot of fun because the social dynamic Factor goes out the window and everybody just responds back and forth with these really interesting connected ideas or fun facts or experiences to you in some way. Advice they heard from some expert for the fact that they also struggle with similar things in their lives. 😊❤ It's really nice to have that. But also have the comfortability it always feels like there's never enough time because you don't always circle back to everything you wanted to. 😂 But it is delightful. It's also really handy whenever you have children because they are curious and a lot of times as an ADHD person you are also curious so you go down the rabbit holes together and learn a bunch of really cool stuff.

For me after one video I did a deep dive hyper focus and read a lot more until I got to point where either I had it OR something that mimics it almost exactly. I eventually did get evaluated to rule other possibilities out but sometimes when you know you know. I had struggled with these things most of my life and that was the biggest clue for me

Ahh I'm so grateful for this amazing podcast ladies thank youu 💖💖 & to have come across this at this point in my life (waiting for a ADHD reassessment as I've been misdiagnosed with Bipolar manyy years ago..I figured that out).. I can totally relate & learnt soo much from this one conversation 🙏 I appreciate Dr Sasha mentioning about emotional regulation which is a big one for me too. I better check here in the UK if it applies too.

Beautiful Radhi, I didn't know until now that you have ADHD (i must be so late lol) & i guess that explains why I've always been attracted to your awesome content and fun character 🥰

I recently purchased Dr Sasha"s 'self-care' book which has been so healing & reassuring for me, as I already do most of the things without even realising ☺️ I'm excited to purchase her new book too! I think that last gem of once you learn it you can start to work with it is so important. There are so many benefits to having adhd lots of pros with the cons once you learn how it effects you.
