  Fun fact about the manchineel tree More Parz didn’t mention: If you BURN the tree, the chemicals in that sap will mix with the smoke, meaning you can still get poisoned by now through your eyes, nose, and lungs!

Scientists actually think this kind of rumbling was also made by dinosaurs like the T-rex, rather than doing an open-mouthed roar. There&apos;s videos of the sound on youtube, just grab your best headphones or hook up speakers with a subwoofer, because a phone speaker can&apos;t replicate it.

  Small correction: birds aren&apos;t &quot;related&quot; to dinosaurs. They just straight up ARE therapod dinosaurs and are part of the Coelurosauria clade and are most closely related to things like Velociraptors and the like, as well as the T-Rex.<br>Bonus fun fact: because birds are dinosaurs it technically means that birds are, in fact, reptiles—warm blooded &quot;avian&quot; reptiles.

If you burn it, the poison becomes airborne, and if you bury it, then the soil becomes contaminated and it can STILL harm nearby plants animals and other people
