  As a young Evangelical Pastor, I could listen to Joe all day. The way he articulates his faith and theology so clearly is amazing. I aspire to be able to communicate as effectively as he does.

  It&apos;s everyone vs. Catholicism. &nbsp;2026 feels like the year we are going to see BIG numbers for the conversion of Protestants/non-Christians into the Catholic faith.<br><br>I teach adult catechism. &nbsp;We were at 24 students in March of last year for our 1st year class for my Church. &nbsp;We are now at 86 students. &nbsp;We&apos;ve never seen this before. &nbsp;And they. just. keep. coming. They also keep staying.<br><br>If you are interested in becoming Catholic and the biggest fear is the loss of friends/community (because becoming Catholic is different than become a different Protestant denomination), know that this isn&apos;t on you for people separating themselves from you. &nbsp;That&apos;s on them. I have atheist and protestant friends, and I would never think to stop my friendship with them simply because they chose to change some of their beliefs. &nbsp;I know in many Christian communities your friendship may be one of proximity, but if it is, then you need to have friends that will never give up on you, even if they disagree with you.

  Ya gotta admit, evangelical Protestants have been trained well in emotional rhetoric. Sometimes it illuminates the truth, but sometimes it obscures it.
