Unfortunately we had to re-upload this episode following complaints about the content (discussion of issues related to mental health, but as always with sensitivity and journalistic integrity). This is a slightly redacted version which complies with guidelines. The full version is still available for Members only.

Let us know in the comments your thoughts on the life of Paul Bern and the outcome into the inquest into his passing, and also why not let us know whether you prefer content that keeps you safe from certain words/themes or if you would prefer to have that content included and decide for yourself? It will help us decide how best to present future videos (and avoid this disastrous situation in future).

I feel sorry for Jean. She must have loved him. Her life was so tragically short.

Just watched this...sorry I didn't get to see the original version, but if altering/blurring the word suicide is what YouTube required, we have a serious problem...🤔

Siamo ancora fermi a discutere di censura? Che vergogna e che tristezza

Both versions were great. Such a tragic story. I am a Jean Harlow fan & what she endured in her short life was unbelievable. My heart goes out to Jean, Dorothy & Paul. Pain, guilt, mental illness & pursuit of happiness. In my opinion all 3 were victims.

Jean Harlow must have really cared for him. She fell for William Powell, who sounds very much like Paul Bern.
