  You two have exploded in the deconstruction scene because you communicate so clearly and naturally. I don't think that people appreciate how hard that is.

  As a Christian I saw Christy's video on the ark. It made me double down on my faith. I was so angry and stuff. Then when I was looking for a Bible study guide I came across your secular Bible study. I figured I could watch it with a grain of salt and learn and it slowly, with the help of one of my friends deconverted me. I then went back and watch Christy's videos and it really helped me understand better. It also showed me how much one will excuse and burry their head in the sand.

  Don't EVER stop! You and Brandon are literally the two people that helped me take a step back and see things so clearly! I feel so much more free and at peace than I EVER did when I was a Christian! Thank you both for all you do. ❤️

  Part of the problem with Christianity is that you're taught that the outside world is against you, so don't listen to anything that's going to question your faith or brings doubt.

  I really started to dig into scripture at age 30. I had always read the Bible but never actually studied it. My mother always advised me to spend time with Jesus by reading the Bible. When I finally came out as agnostic/athiest to her and used the Bible as a reference, she said, &quot;Faith is stronger than scripture, and you&apos;re spending too much time studying the Bible.&quot; <br>Also, when I was a hardcore Christian, I would post Bible verses on Facebook with my own commentary/interpretation and get a million &apos;Amen.&apos; &nbsp;When I started posting my questions and opinions of the Bible, I was told to shut up, I needed Jesus, and I was being disrespectful to them and their God! All by the same people who loved my previous posts. <br>What I&apos;ve learned is that it wasn&apos;t because I had deconstructed my faith but only that I didn&apos;t share in the faith with them anymore! <br>Another thing I&apos;ve learned is that the one thing that is more dangerous to the mind than having an imaginary friend is having an imaginary enemy!

  i find it ironic to hear a theist call an atheist angry and hateful when it&apos;s the theist who seems to relish the fact that all us atheists are gonna end up in eternal hellfire !
