"I finally found my propane." Bobby knows how to talk his dad's language.

Given it was Bobby's idea that Hank and Peggy leave America while he stays with Luanne and Lucky, I never saw it as abandonment. Not to mention I love Hank's smile when Bobby says he found his propane. I think that sentence is what solidified and made Hank decide to take the job offer and trust Bobby's judgement.

"Oh...i don't want to do that"<br><br>Child bobby would have had a meltdown followed by the musical twangs in the background for comedic effect,<br>Our boy really has grown up.

I just love how Bobby was so grown up in this scene when it came to having that part time job and what he plans to do for his future. And how Hank was proud of him that he planned his future and respected his decision to stay behind and work on his future planning and the rest of high school!

Bobby really was a Lama. Even though he struggled and got irritable like any other young adult he was always wiser than his actual age!

It's really nice when Hank Hill comes around to realizing Bobby is his own man with his own hopes, dreams, and the will to see them through.
