Thank you for taking the time to post this! This was my grandfather and role model for me in any many ways. He was so humble and by talking with him or being in his presense, you would never guess he was a superstar. He is missed every day and his playing and sound is none like any other. I will forever miss the jam sessions my grandparents always had at their house, with my dad, Louie, when we visited. May his sound continue on forever!

Kayton’s big sister was my beloved Granny. It brought me to tears to see them standing together at his induction ceremony and in the picture from their childhood. This was a very special video, thank you for making it. 🧡

Thank you for this video.... Kayton was a dear friend of mine from 1972 until his passing. I was at his bedside the night before his passing. One of the most fun guys I have ever been around. I sure do miss him...

Thank you for paying tribute to the late and great, Kayton Roberts. He was one of nicest guys you could ever meet, and very deserving of being inducted in the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame. I loved visiting with him and listening to his stories every chance I got, and he loved sharing stories. He always made my day brighter! Kayton was a master at getting a great tone out of his steel guitar, and his intonation was always spot on perfect! I’m so glad we have records and videos of him. His style of playing never gets old to me.

Right on! I've been waiting for a video on Kayton for a while!

He was the first guy that I listened to which gave me the experience of thinking I was listening to pedal steel, but it was straight steel.
