  Honestly I&apos;m tired of movies or tv series with gays dying of AIDS, depression, anxiety and what not. This movie is a breath of fresh air. It makes you want to love again.

  When the King warns Henry ‘not to go out there’ he mentions that if he does there will be no turning back. Ominous words, right ? Except the tone of his voice is paternal, obviously concerned with Henry’s well-being. Misguided certainly, but I believe he genuinely wishes to protect his grandson. Out of love, not in a spiteful, &nbsp;homophobic way.

  I love that you GET this movie! the girls that get it get it, and the girls that don&apos;t, don&apos;t. Some ppls make reaction video and just be overly negative for no reason

  Regarding the King smoking: &nbsp;the building in which the scene was filmed doesn’t allow smoking, but once they heard Stephen Fry (if you don’t know who he is, he’s a gay icon &amp; “national treasure” in the UK), they relented.

  The funny thing about Alex&apos;s mom being like &quot; if i would have had more warning i would have made a PowerPoint presentation&quot; is in the book she literally does and the PowerPoint is basically &quot; it&apos;s awesome your bi, but does your boyfriend have to be henry?   Probably one of the best &quot; Queer Movies&quot; &nbsp;I have seen. &nbsp;It was NOT depressing, &nbsp;sad, &nbsp;angry, &nbsp;or shocking. &nbsp; It was simply a good story- well told and acted.

  The friend was Nora and she’s the Granddaughter of the Vice President. <br>It was great that during the love scene, which it was a “love scene” and not just sex, they did show condoms and lube on the side table, which was great also. <br>The speech was amazing!
