  This is one of those movies that are so light and nice that it feels sad because of how reality is. A woman becomes President of the US as a democrat with a mexican husband and a biracial son who is openly bisexual... and she wins Texas.

  This movie nailed the &quot;How to make a good LGBT+ story&quot; by:<br>1) Skipping the &quot;Abuse&quot; (way too common)<br>2) Skipping the &quot;Double Standards&quot; between the two main characters. Both guys are actually treated like men. Love them ❤

  The emails in the book are so much more heartbreaking because it details so much of their family. In the book the president is divorced. And Alex doesn’t have a perfect relationship with his mom, so he talks about that, and Henry talks about his sister’s addiction (which the world wasn’t aware of) as well as his mom being depressed and neglecting them after his dad’s death and his grandma (the queen) treating them in an almost non-humane way. The emails had SO MUCHHHHH. Can’t recommend the book enough.

  Lord Ivar Mountbatten, a cousin of Queen Elizabeth II, came out as gay in 2016, five years after divorcing his wife, Penelope Thompson. Two years later, Thompson &quot;gave him away&quot; at his wedding to James Coyle, the first same-sex marriage of a member of the extended British royal family. The men live at a magnificent country estate, Bridwell, which you can rent for your own wedding or event. Lord Ivar seems to be the only openly out gay royal currently. There have been a few in the distant past.

  Based on what I saw NOBODY was expecting this movie to be good in any sense of the word. Both actors had recently been in bad movies &amp; a lot of people said it looked like they had no chemistry in the trailer.<br><br>But tbh I found it to be a gem where you can tell people still made an effort and everyone had a good time. It&apos;s a comfort movie for me 😊

  i felt the crying over &quot;i would break the sound barrier for you&quot; as soon as i heard that, i burst into tears for some reason, and i dont cry very easily
