Refreshing. Non-biased, actually useful, informative review.
Thanks for this. 👍🏼

Thanks so much for this. Not only for the insightful Sarana overview (it was on my shortlist)—but also the headset education and the geometry website.

I almost pulled the trigger on an ASTR today due to your earlier videos. Good to know about the headset bearing and paint issues!

Love the honest review and your bar tape looks cool ! I want to find that style

Thank you very much for this helpful video. You saved me a lot of money. The no tire clearance is a no go for me. I will keep my Lauf. Canyon mentions a 4 mm clearance according to the ISO (international standardization organization) for their new grail. So there is a norm, but not for factor.

Also looking forward to your review of the Scott. It’s top on my list for my races next year. I’m also considering the Orbea Terra which states 50mm clearance but there are folks running wide rims and Conti 2.25s with good clearance.

Super helpful review and makes me want to do a review on why I think people should avoid the X-LAB GT8 (I have found countless things wrong with this bike, lol) since this insight on the Sarana can only be found by someone that actually rides and doesn't just review a bike after 50 miles.

looking forward to the Addict review. I feel that the evolution made this year in tire clearance is often in pushing the numbers by downsizing the leftover clearance without phycially increasing it. My wilier rave has officially 52mm clearance. But i can run 2.25 inch tires plumping up to 55mm (schwalbe's are smaller) and i still have 6mm clearance on both ends in the rear and 5 on the front. On the chain guide, i saw someone that had a contraption that attached to the bottle cage bosses, and it could still carry a bottle cage. (K-edge makes it)

had the bike at the top of my list despite the limited colors... but that storage cover is hideous for the money they're asking for. also the limited tyre clearance is disappointing. overall not a really functional bike
thank you so much for sharing this video, you've got a new subscriber :)

On my Factor Aluto with claimed 47 mm rear tire clearance, a 46 mm as measured tire has 2.5 mm clearance on either side. Emilio is bang on. Factor is not being honest about the practical amount of tire clearance.

I’m surprised you didn’t get the new Kanzo Fast 2.0. I have an ASTR. Thinking of getting the Kanzo Fast.

Very nice. Since bigger tires are now, more the norm, and not a trend at race level, seems the frame company's need to be more honest with their measurements. Odd they left out a chain guide mount.
