  Did Godot just add Spaces to Tabs as an automatic feature in the latest update!? Also, what is your best (or worse) Godot tip?

  This is a really good refresher on important things to keep in mind in godot. However, what would have made the video really valuable was some form of reference to where to learn more about a particular tips, as your quick brush-ups work well in this context but it is kind of implied that the tip is from somewhere else where it is properly described. So a kind of a list with links would really elevate this vid. Thanks for your good work!

  One thing that's probably too obvious to be a tip, but that has really made the engine a lot friendlier for me is using the built in documentation. Right click a node in scene dock or ctrl/cmd-click a node type in your scripts, and you can see all the properties and methods available for that node. So many times I think, "I should be able to get this node to do x", and I just pull up the docs and it tells me what it can do and how. For example, I'm using a Raycast2D for the first time, and I'm like "I know this should tell me whether it hit anything, and what object it hit, I just don't know what the code looks like", and boom, it's all right there, no tutorials needed. In a similar vein, hovering over a property in the inspector tells you the property's name in GDScript.This discoverability is the primary thing that has made me more productive in Godot than other engines I've tried.

  This is basics. Also, version control is a must. It's mind-blowing how many developers don't use version control when it's the core of every project. I appreciate you helping out beginners though.

  as a beginner game dev this is exactly the kind of stuff i wish i knew earlier, so many “wait godot does that??” moments lol. been learning with ziva too and stuff like this just makes everything click way faster tbh. really still have a lot to learn

  On the input map tips. Hardcode your debug keys so it will be easier to remove and clean up in the future

  tip 20 - better use Resource for this. You can create export slot and put there resource with enemy stats.
