  A man I know and his wife were heading Northbound back home (he lives near Alfreton) and he ended up pulling people from the fuselage. Never been on a documentary, never wanted any recognition, he said he just did ‘what anyone would’ve done’. Absolute hero. He’s a beekeeper nowadays. The most heroic man I know

  Appreciated the detail on the motorists who reacted to the crash. Sounds like an unusual number of folks with the proper skills to be helpful when coming across the crash site.<br>Another detail rarely mentioned is the firefighters were concerned about the tail section sliding or rolling down the embankment and killing people during the response. They tied it to a tree farther up the embankment.

  Stories like this emphasize how absolutely critical Crew Resource Management training is. Everyone is safer when each member of the workforce feels empowered to make their voice heard, and higher-ups are humble enough to listen.

  My dad was one of the surgeons who operated on a lot of these passengers. We saw this on the news and he just said &quot;I think I had better go to work&quot;. He was working straight for several days. He was an orthopaedic surgeon and dealt with a lot of broken legs. They actually changed the brace position because of this crash.

  I remember this from Air Disasters. They showed the vibration was so bad in the cockpit that the FO couldn&apos;t see which engine was malfunctioning.

  There has been a disaster going on in my country Greece, called the &quot;tempi train crash&quot; lot of young people my age died and the government is trying to cover it up because there was illegal flammable materials that are the main reason for the huge deathtool, 2 years later and footage from the crash just made the light of day, i really hope u cover this at some point 🙏❤️
