  Heard 100s of reactions to this song and ignored your reaction for a day but finally clicked on it this morning and lo and behold i learned more about this masterpiece then i knew beforehand . Thank you and a new sub here. Nightwish army are extremely passionate about them so rudeness does show its ugly face now and then

  I was a bit harsh in my comment yesterday, but kudos for doing this.  As for Dawkins, he's not one of my favorites either, but I'll overlook my disagreements with him because his work inspired Tuomas to compose this masterpiece.. Thanks, and my apologies. We are a passionate bunch.

  Thank you for listening to this part as well, it really completes the experience. Please check out more Nightwish, especially the Floor-era, because she is an amazing vocal chameleon who adds a beautiful extra layer to every song she takes on, in Nightwish as well as in other projects and her current solo career. Together with the amazing music that Tuomas writes and the great musicianship of all the bandmembers it creates a unique sound and atmosphere that I really love. You'll be in for a lot of treats!

  This entire tour was inspired by Dawkins's work, not just this song. It took the efforts of both Tuomas and Troy to get him to attned here. I was fortunate enough to be in the audience. RIchard is dry and serious because his work matters. Very few people of his stature are prepared to stand against the evil of religion, and he should be encouraged.

  I really appreciated the moments where you highlighted the musical motifs on the piano; in my opinion, your observations were spot-on. I’m not a musician myself, but you pointed out structural elements that I might have otherwise missed.<br>You’ve certainly gained a new subscriber here, and I hope you’ll continue exploring Nightwish’s music with the same dedication—or at least their last decade, which I gather you haven&apos;t covered yet, despite the comments pointing out what you missed in this performance. Metalheads can be a bit too blunt, perhaps, but they have the virtue of being honest about what they think. I hope those comments don&apos;t affect you negatively.<br>Greetings from Romania!

  I had heard Nightwish with Tarja and found her vocals unpleasant having sung with amateur sopranos with better diction, tone and breath control. I ignored them until I was fortunate enough to hear Nightwish at Wacken 2013 with Floor Jansen.on YouTube during Covid lockdown. This concert features Floor singing Tarja&apos;s song Ghost Love Score and it is so good plus 13 more songs by Tarja and second singer Anette Olzon and taking them beyond anything they could sing. By the way Richard Dawkins is actually quoting from Charles Darwin&apos;s &quot;On The Origin of Species&quot; at the end.

  I was another fan who dropped the ball on Nightwish when Tarja left and then re-discovered them about 8 years ago with Floor, which totally rekindled my love for the band. &nbsp;You&apos;ve got a lot of great catching up to do! &nbsp;:)

  This is one of my favorite songs of all time and I appreciated your take on it. Especially the note about the chord progression behind &quot;We were here,&quot; which perfectly describes what it&apos;s going for: We were here, we are here, we will continue in some form. It&apos;s not going to resolve because humanity hasn&apos;t resolved, and they turn that into triumph and defiance. Damn I love this band.
