  The will to survive is truly incredible. To face the darkness of an icy crevasse and choose peace over panic is a lesson for us all, not just in mountaineering, but in life. These stories remind us to cherish every breath we take.

  The first story about the Malaysians is riddled with inaccuracies. I know, I was there. From the location of the summit attempt (they never camped at high camp, they made their push from intermediary camp they set up between camp at 14000ft and high camp), to the date they went for the summit (their summit attempt was made the day before reported here), to the handful of people who found them laying face down in snow the next day who dug the shelter for them, gave them dex, melted water for a hot drink to giving them warm clothes, and reasons why these climbers couldn't be brought down. I wish this channel would take some care to collect all real facts before telling the story.

  I watch these videos because I NEED to know that there are TRULY GOOD PEOPLE left in this world!! Complete strangers putting their own lives at risk to save another human being is the MOST SELFLESS THING IN THIS LIFE!!! It truly gives me hope for humanity 🙏 ❤️ 😊

  The guides do their best, but nobody's perfect, there's gonna be accidents, things ,places are always changing, without even knowing  rip,to those who lost their lives,dont put yourself in dangerous situations

  What is most often omitted is the fact that Denali has the highest vertical drop on Earth. Much higher than Everest or any of the others.

  You can't call it tragedy when people risk their lives and lose. A tragedy is a downfall that is not deserved or willingly risked for thrills.
