  I appreciate the segment on looking through old stuff in the attic. More often than not, the "analog" trend just becomes an excuse to buy more crap, instead of what it's really about: slowing down and appreciating what you already have

  Advice from someone who is 52, with those photos include notes about people, places, events because you will forget who is who, especially if life moves on and you don&apos;t see them regularly anymore.

  I think it says a lot about us in 2026 that we&apos;re referring to retro game consoles as &apos;analog&apos; and/or a better thing for our brains than doomscrolling. Bc when we were kids, video games were still being demonized and treated as if they were the lowest, dumbest form of entertainment that would ruin us (or smth stupid like that)

  i got emotional when you expressed how you craved human connection and visited a friend. i know it was very uncomfortable for you but it must’ve felt like a breath of fresh air once you were welcomed in~ <br><br>realizing that visiting a friend on a whim isn’t the norm hit me hard, and i would love to be that person when i can. thank you for making this video taz (:

  I got rid of my TikTok like 2 years ago for lent, and never went back. This past December, I removed instagram, Facebook and YouTube from my cellphone and removed all my games as well. It has been amazing… I have more time to crochet and read (go figure). &nbsp;I still have those apps on my tablet but I don’t carry it around so I have to purposely grab it to use them. This has been so helpful for my mental health and ADHD. I love that you have discovered that more time away from the apps means more time with yourself and as scary as that is, we should spend all the time getting to know ourselves anyway, we are all we will always have.
