  Jordan is right. We can all agree that using the tools ai gives us will be incredibly profound. But you will never realize and appreciate how profound they are until you do the grunt work of "showing your work", doing the math, writing the paper, making the excel sheet, doing the code etc. the problem solving and more long term gratification that comes with that ground level work prior to using the tech will exponentially expand your ability to do incredible problem solving, now leverage that with ai tools and you're too the moon. Nobody wants ungrateful little internet hellions farting out data they don't even understand past, "but chat gpt said so", even if it's right.

  1 AI class isn't enough. Kids in schools get 1 personal finance class, 1 computer class, for the past 20 years. Chris is right we need WAY more focus on the tools that are going to transform the world in the next 50 years.

  If you haven’t realized how big of a joke, the school system is these days and that they don’t teach you how to learn they teach you how to memorize what they want you to memorize then you’re blind.

  Had an interesting conversation with my nephew recently, about AI in the classroom. &nbsp;He was a school principal and is a very sharp guy. &nbsp;He said, the younger the student, the less they are able to learn without a human involved. &nbsp;He thinks it’s basically hard-wired into us. &nbsp;I didn’t ask him about college-level, tho, as he was never involved on the teaching side at that level. &nbsp;He was skeptical that that limitation could be overcome, such as via AI robot teachers, as the kids would know or at least subconsciously perceive that it’s not human and thus would not learn as well. &nbsp;<br><br>So, perhaps we allocate human teacher resources mostly to the youngest students, with a shift to AI teachers as the students age.

  Kids are being educated the same way they always have been, but the real problem is that too many kids go through the system without anyone truly paying attention to whether they are actually learning.<br><br>Some parents are more involved and understand that traditional schooling often prepares students to become employees rather than independent thinkers, entrepreneurs, or creators.<br><br>You can send your kids to whatever school and follow whatever educational philosophy you believe in. With my kids, I chose a different approach. I want them to question things, think independently, learn practical skills, and not simply follow the one-size-fits-all style of education being taught today.
