  I'm being mean.) I was shocked that this guy wasn't surprised by the cleanliness everywhere in Poland, the lack of mandatory tipping, the lack of tents for the homeless on the streets. The price of an item on the shelf is exactly what you pay at the register. And above all, the payment system makes the United States look like something from the Middle Ages....keep smilleng )

  In Poland if you go to a restaurant you expect the server to take the order, bring you the food and then leave you alone till your done and want to pay. In USA people expect the server to jump like a monkey around their table i guess.

  An interesting fact is that Poland was the second country on earth (after the USA) and the first country in Europe to have a constitution.

  Vodka consumption dropped massively through last 3 decades. Beer is much more popular in Poland now.

  I went to Poland from Germany, visiting Warsaw and Krakow.  There was plenty to see and it was not expensive. I travelled by train in Poland. The food was more varied than the video suggests. The salt mine near Krakow was fascinating. In Warsaw I stayed in a restored 16th century townhouse in the old town, across the square from the castle. University students lead walking tours of both cities. There’s no st price. Just pay what you think it was worth. The locals mainly drink beer and vodka. I had been in Russia a couple of weeks earlier and the Russians drink a lot more. Whenever I’d sit at a restaurant table they’d put vodka in front of me. They drink it straight. The Poles are also much more friendly than the Russians. The service is fine, just not as intrusive as in America. Waiters don’t hover, but are obliging.

  Its not ''lack of service''. People jus not being as pushy. When u ask for help and attention , youll get it. And yeah, claims that its cheap or not many tourists are obviously outdated..

  Obejrzyj statystki - jakie zajmuje miejsce Polska w spozyciu alkoholu na głowę mieszkańca? Przedostatnie od końca. Anglicy, Francuzi, Niemcy i Włosi wyprzedzają nas. A czy widział pijanych Polaków na ulicach? Ręczę, że nie.

  This video must be pretty old, judging by the pictures and what Walter is saying.<br>Poland is visited by a lot of tourists nowadays, not France and Italy lot but comparable to Germany. Also the prices aren’t that low anymore. It used to be much cheaper, after Covid and the war prices almost matched the German ones. <br>Right now Poland is a thriving and modern country, changing month by month.
