Love this! I’m so happy to be around to see SAI getting the love it deserves.
And thanks for acknowledging that Mulberry St is confusing as heck! I love that song so much but… what!😂
I doubt we’ll ever truly have a grasp on all the twists and turns from these lyrics specifically. I loved your take on them. ❤

Excellent job as always! You are doing an incredible job explaining everything. I always love the Zane Lowe interviews. Tyler really opens up with him! One small personal take on the album… I don’t disagree that Formidable is about Jenna, but may I also pose the theory that it is also about Rosie “I know that we just met, but could you take me everywhere you’ve ever been” . To me this line feels like the awe of being a new dad and wanting to experience all her firsts in life. Also the line “fast forward thirteen years now… I’m afraid of you now more than I was at first”.. I think he is imagining parenting a teenager and how daunting that seems (trust I speak from experience that 13 yr old girls are formidable!). Lastly I also draw this conclusion from the clip of him singing to her while he’s away. “You seem to know where you want to go- you’re me Rosie- Ro”. 😌Can’t wait to hear your next album review!

 thank you for your work!!
when i first listened (LISTENED, not heard, yeah unfortunately im one of the fans whose first thought was that SAI is a filler album and i had to reexplore it years later and found out that i was dumb) Redecorate, i was at my lowest for the first time in years. this song became really important to me ever since, specifically because of the thought "what happens when im gone". your explanation of it brought me to tears just like when i first listened to the song, not in a bad way btw
