This is dreadful. Crimes like this should put the perpetrator on a permanent watch list.

Kids sleeping over at Helen's house after being released for doing her time for murdering children is disgusting.

I feel 13 years is not near enough time.
The brother definitely needs validation, to be heard so he can begin his healing journey.
I also feel that not only Helen a serial killer, she has been undiagnosed for many other things such as PDF.
Thank you to the journalist who is helping communities by making them aware.
Keep all children no matter what age away from her!
Even the fictional ones.

Helen should still be in prison, 13 years is ridiculous

The Australian "justice " system is broken. Criminals never receive jail time that befits their crimes, especially murderers.

I can't understand how a Dr can write a book on SIDS and female serial killers in Australia and not know about this woman. That's due diligence. Especially in a time of social media.

I unapologetically beg to differ in terms of exposing her to vigilantes.
Those babies/children don't have a voice.
Craig has gone through unimaginable pain and betrayal, not only in terms of his mother and sister, but by the system that somehow allowed Helen and God only knows how many others to slip through the cracks.
What hope did those poor children have against Helen ? NONE !
So many young lives lost at the hands of this monster unit.
The psychiatrist who said she displayed traits of schizophrenia ought to have his credentials forfeited.
Then there's the parole board that should be held accountable also.
The fact that Helen ended up doing 13 yr's for ending all those little lives as well as attempting to end a couple of lives on top of all those other poor helpless children, then there's absolutely NO WAY that she didn't know what she was doing !
She convinced the parole board after ONLY serving 13 yr's that she was somehow rehabilitated even after one psychiatrist stated that she showed signs of schizophrenia.
What the hell were the parole board thinking ?
How she wasn't knocked off in a womens prison is beyond me.
What's worse is that the system allowed her to change her name after all these horrendous crimes she committed.
The point is... if the system isn't protecting our children, then yes, vigilantes should have every right to protect our children.
All those innocent little lives weren't shown any mercy whatsoever and nor should that sub human garbage.

I would love to see a statistical analysis that compares the number of SIDS deaths in homes with and without babycams.

I mean whether Australian, American etc the law was never meant for victims to get justice especially for some reason children! I mean remember that crazy former babysitter who killed a teen she was obsessed with and wanted to be, thinks she only got 13 years to, she planned everything, even painted her hair the same color as her victim, showed no remorse yet she’s free! Canada years ago freed a female serial killer who alongside her boyfriend raped and murdered women and girls, one of whom was her own little sister! Justice was never for the victims! Its a joke and will continue to be a joke
