The cat transforms. The perspective shot of the building is a warped view of reality. Michael's purity reacts by lighting up the world and changing lives for the better.

Man in the mirror is my absolute favorite MJ song. Every time I hear one of his songs I think of the days when I would constantly listen to his songs on my walkman. This song was the song that would drop in the middle, so I had to turn the cassette to the other side 😅. I always get chills and tears hearing man in the mirror ❤

How can anyone pick a favorite?  It is always whichever one I am listening to at the time, so right now it is Billie Jean!

I’m 46 and been a fan since I was 3, and every time I hear a MJ song it’s like the first time. 🍎 ❤ He still makes me feel every emotion he wanted people to feel. There is no one with that aura. There never will be. ❤❤❤ Imagine Quincy wanted to cut that intro shorter until Michael told him it makes him want to dance so he left it. So many things Michael used to connect all his work. The concept of the coin in this video, he uses the same concept of a coin toss in Smooth Criminal. This street scene like The Way You Make Me Feel street scene. The stones were set up to light up by remote and Michael had to learn which stones were set to light up in the choreography. You can notice one of two doesn’t light up when he is on the road, they said they couldn’t get them working so they left it lol

Michael proved to be a genius by uniting sound, image, and movement so perfectly that the music became inseparable from his dance and style.

I seen this video for the first time while in the military stationed in Japan. It played everywhere, over and over and over again...for close to a year. Everywhere I went, downtown Tokyo or the military's NCO CLUB, I heard it being played. People couldn't get enough of it. Just incredible the staying power of this song.

I see it as the pussycat becoming a tiger, like rumors grow over time. And I see the lights as his purity and innocence.

I remember when this came out. It was magical, as if from a different planet. The early 80s really was the golden age

I always interpreted the video as &quot;Everything he touches turns to gold, referring to his celebrity status attracting attention like this, and his name having so much power, that the public must believe everything said about him is true&quot;.<br>Also, &quot;Let the H.O. go&quot; is one way of saying it😂
