  the creator of this film, Adam Elliot, is super nice by the way! he personally responds to fanmail sent to the email address on his website, and consistently too! the last email he sent me was one after i mentioned cattail plants in swamps, he sent me a photo of a kangaroo paw plant found in Australian swamps. just a really sweet guy :)

  I know it sound stereotypical but this film really did get me through a very hard time. I saw it around the time I was severely injured after an accident at work, then got temporarily laid off from the same job (not for the injury, dnw my boss is a stand up bloke, and I was rehired not long after thankfully) and I really felt myself drifting mentally in a way that I had not since the early pandemic days. It really motivated me to keep going amid the hardships of life.

  I love this type of movie...it so disturbing and sad reality .. and it actually make us feel more grateful about life..

  One thing I love in this movie is the literal visualization. I tend to be a visualizer and think literally when things are metaphorically said. It feels childish, but it really just shows how creativity was added to this film.

  Memoir of a snail is def one of my top fav movies and made me CRY MY EYEBALLS OUT THE SOCKETS. But still good and happy to see someone reacting to it!!
