  Guyyyys I forgot to add Hexxat (lesbian for female) and Dorn (Bi for both) to the list of people you can romance. Forgive me!!! They are great options and were added later (both evil though)!!

  I just wanna add that I admire you so much for recognizing that you have something valuable to offer about a game that people have been playing for nearly 30 years. Your tips sound like they come from a place of care and experience, your vulnerability towards things you've struggled with about the game is refreshing, and the editing is so tight and entertaining

  It's me! I am one of the people you convinced to play BG1 and I've been enjoying it. I'll eventually go back and finish BG3. But i do love the face i can run this game on just about anything.

  Woah, after like 10 BG beginners guide videos I finally found one that actually had helpful info and didn't just repeat everything that was already explained in the tutorial and prologue lol awesome video

  When I first played BG1, I was very impressed with the sound effects.  They added a lot to the wilderness areas.

  Make sure to read your journal! Not only does it have valuable information about the quests you embark on and the overall story, it also adds so much to the character of the protagonist. Baldur's Gate has what I'd call a partial blank slate. Their race, class, and abilities are entirely up to you, but you always come from the same place, with a predetermined backstory. If you want to roleplay, the journal is a great place to look for ideas.

  If Minsc is wearing leather armor he can Hide in Shadows and be an excellent scout so you don't blindly walk into big encounters.
