  Thanks guys another great episode. As an atheist among Christians here in Northern Ireland (and raising a six-year-old who came home from school last month telling me that a classmate said I would go to hell for not being a Christian) you have given me so much amazing survival knowledge. I have even been setting my in-law’s minister straight on the topic of Revelation, much to the consternation of my mother-in-law 😊

  On Seth Andrews’ channel a few years ago, he had a guest who discussed the work of theologians who have thought about what extra terrestrials would mean for Christianity. Some theologians assume that Jesus would have to visit all those planet and go through death and resurrection again.  If the aliens were slug people, there would need to be slug Jesus. Andrews quipped, “He was salted for our sins.”

  We should revisit definitions of ressurection. More like the myth of the Phoenix arising from the previous death.

  Can someone provide a citation for the ancient pagan authors who wrote polemics against resurrection, and used examples like the ones Bart gives (animals eating humans, cannibalism)?
