By watching this video we were able to establish that the posterior BPPV was on the right hand side. Then we watched your Eply manoeuvre video and were able to resolve my wife's vertigo. Thank you so much for taking the trouble to produce such an informative and useful video!

This may sound strange but wearing headphones has potentially brought on my vertigo. I've also recently recovered from a viral chest infection and know after watching a few BBPV videos, that this may also be a cause.<br>But just to highlight my reasoning, I have had two episodes of vertigo in the last 18 months, both following periods of wearing headphones. Previously I had several episodes but didn't quit wearing in-ear bud immediately. For some reason I did reduce the use of head phones and didn't have an episode for 4-5 years. I started wearing again just after Christmas 2024 and within 2 months had room spin. I had been using the epley method but have changed to the half headstand, both work for me, and I normally find it's right side for me.

Thank you for this video. I have BPPV diagnosed by my GP with Dix Halpike on the left side. I went to a physiotherapist for treatment and he did without testing the Epley maneuver twice, the 2nd time I had no reaction so I thought it was solved. After the treatment he did mention he didn't have much experience with it, if only I had know this beforehand. I went to bed and noticed this sensation when lying on my back and getting up, but also turning left. I now did the Supine Roll myself and had a reaction on the right side. How is that possible? I also have this wobbly feeling all day. Even when I sit on a chair it feels a bit like falling backward. Later today I tried to do some gardening and bending forward made me spin and lose balance completely. Could this be the anterior canal? Or horizontal?

Hello! Thank you for your dedication to helping people with this condition. Im experiencing vertigo symptoms but I fail both the tests (no vertigo sensation or eye movement) for posterior and horizontal canal vertigo. What would you suggest I look into? Im a 53 year old male who is relatively healthy, excercises and hikes, I dont drink or smoke, etc. I also have mild tinnitus. Again, THANK YOU! Dan

I have been experiencing vertigo for about 6 months. Most troubling to me is how it interferes with walking for exercise outside. I walk normally for about three minutes, and after that start weaving. I stop to regain my balance. The vertigo returns after a couple of minutes. I'm not exercising much due to this. I do experience mild vertigo after getting out of bed, and when bending down to pick up something on the floor. Also, looking up at something above my head triggers vertigo. I believe I have BVVP. Do many other people with vertigo get triggered when they go out for walks? I haven't seen comments from others who complain of this. I am hoping the Epley Maneuver will help.

Any advice for bppv that comes back every 3-6 months???

Your videos have been great, but im having trouble trying to self treat myself with a current active bppv. Dix-hallpike is testing positive on the right side, with my nystagmus beating up VERY briefly (only like ~4 seconds), however there is absolutely no rotatory/rotational movement of the eyes, only upbeating. I've done epley one a day for about a 2 weeks and its still not any better. I watched an older video of yours and it says that if theres no rotational movement, that I need to stop dix hallpike and go into supine head roll test, but that is negative (testing multiple times/days). so im kinda unsure what I should be doing. Ive had this for probably 2 weeks now and im stumped

Why do medical people always use acronyms for stuff, isn't it important for people to know what the he11 you are talking about, especially with something as important as your health? ......Use your words people, PLEASE
