68. Yes separate session for balance and BPPV would be great.

best explanation about dizziness that I have heard or read about. My 81 yr old wife has been fighting it for the last 4 years here in Southeastern New Mexico.

i’m a 69-year-old with very bad vertigo for over a month. I have had my eardrum burst 3 times in my lifetime (that I know of). I had a CT scan of my head and they noticed a bulging in my eyes that is a potential sign of glaucoma. I’m also having a knee replacement in a week and live alone. Pretty much a falling accident waiting to happen. I’ll work on these exercises and hope it helps while I wait to see an ophthalmologist. Wish me luck!

Very interesting and helpful. In my 70's with osteoporosis, but still enjoying day hiking, so knowing how to keep my balance intact is great.

I'm thankful I came around this video. I ran out of B12 about 7 weeks ago and haven't purchased any. I have been very dizzy. I also have not been taking my vitamin D regularly because I have been moving, and been off routine for weeks. Thanks!

My 87 yr Mom has been suffering with dizziness for 4 months. The eye exercises worked the best even after all of the prescriptions and doctor intervention did not. Thank you for these videos.

I am female 81 and fairly active and healthy. I have been dealing with intermittent BPPV. I do daily exercises and have it pretty well under control. This was the best video I have seen and I have seen a lot, thank you, I look forward to your other videos.

The explanation of the equilibrium triad is neurologically flawless. Spatial orientation requires constant, synchronous integration of vestibular, visual, and proprioceptive afferent inputs at the brainstem and cerebellar level. Any sensory mismatch—such as pathological vestibular firing while visual and somatosensory inputs declare the body stationary—instantly induces intense sensory conflict, manifesting as vertigo and autonomic symptoms (nausea).

This video is exactly what I needed. A month ago I had a first serious vertigo episode and of course went directly to the ER (I'm 69) where they quickly worked me up for a stroke. Nothing was found on head CT with contrast or on chest x-ray. Neurology saw me and said they did not believe I had a stroke either, and by the end of the day I also did not think so as I had no other symptoms, and felt fine otherwise. It has a clear positional element as well, I can reproduce it mildly with certain movements. I have been diagnosed formerly with osteoporosis so that fits as well. I have been sensing that the lingering effects are more anticipatory than anything, so that fits cleanly into the profile for the PPPD syndrome as well. I am saving this video to take to my primary MD to explain my event to her better than I can in my own words, since it so perfectly describes both my physical vulnerabilities (age, osteoporosis, vision issues, etc.) as well as my post-vertigo experiences. Thank you so much for such a thorough, concise overview that has done a lot to put my mind at relative ease and will also be invaluable and vindicating for me when seeking further medical treatment. Much gratitude!

I'm 72, have had bouts of spinning vertigo for the last couple of years, usually disappears in a week or 10 days. Turning my head while lying down or standing up sets it off. Was always within a couple of weeks of a journey by air. Air journeys always have caused temporary hearing loss and stopped up ears for days afterwards, all my life. Lately tho I've had an episode without an elevation change.

The bppv activity is brilliant...works like a charm...but be ready for terrible dizziness while doing that exercise...while those chrystals readjust.
