  Can&apos;t wait for &quot;regular moves in fighting games&quot; where LK and a guest highlight moves that aren&apos;t particularly noteworthy one way or another. Like Testament&apos;s far slash. Yeah, it&apos;s a move.

  GuileWinQuote mentioning Parappa the Rapper kind of makes me wonder if Gloomy Puppet Show suffers from the same problem as that game. Parappa&apos;s input windows were already pretty strict (perhaps a little too strict) when playing on a CRT, but infamously, the extra bit of lag added by the modern re-releases and our modern LCD TVs pushed an already rough situation off a cliff.<br><br>Practicing Gloomy Puppet Show in Capcom Fighting Collection absolutely baffled me. One would assume you&apos;re supposed to time the button presses with the flashes of the icons, but I seemed to score more consistently when I deliberately hit them earlier or later.

  The guard gauge thing in HnK has some lore stuff to it.<br><br>Heart tells Kenshiro &quot;only Shin-sama can break through my skin&quot; and also Souther has &quot;no stance he only has offense&quot; so that&apos;s why he can always be guard broken<br><br>Lots of little things in HnK because of lore stuff. Like how Raoh doesn&apos;t have a back dash but a dodge because &quot;he never retreats from an opponent&quot; lots of neat details

  Honestly, Jagi himself can fit this entire video.<br><br>- He has a super that makes you spell his name correctly or suffer huge damage. If the opponent is near-death, spelling his name correctly gives them a bit of HP left.<br>- He has a super that can <i>only</i> be used with Shin. It is a meter-stealing move that is a <i>direct</i> reference to when Jagi gives Shin the idea to steal Kenshiro&apos;s girlfriend.<br>- His instant kill utilizes oil and fire...the same resource as one of his regular special moves. The IK can cancel if it touches one of the oil puddles that he sets out as a special move.<br><br>Jagi is <i>A W F U L!</i> ...but in an entertaining and endearing way.

  Thanks for the video! GuileWinQuote&apos;s pool of obscure game knowledge is always impressive, and it is super fun to keep learning more about the hidden depths of the genre. I do also agree that modern games could serve to add more whimsical moves like Sin&apos;s eat, it adds so much charm for something that doesn&apos;t affect much.
