  My theory for how it could end is that in 2019, an Async employee or a whistleblower ends up uploading a post about then complex to 4chan

  decades is fucking CRAZY. i want as much backrooms as he’s willing to give us but god damn dude, like if none of what we’ve been shown is even the “main plot” im lowkey concerned😭 i trust kane tho🙏

  apart from kane's storytelling vision for the complex sounding incredibly ambitious, happyegg's series is just an alternate timeline. when he started that project, he didn't have as many pieces of kane's lore available as there are today. it's hard to integrate new rules into a project that started before those rules were discovered

  happyegg made a qna on the video and he clarified a few things:<br>1.The hand that took Ivan is not IVN but The Complex itself<br>2.The Lifeform DID come from a dead body, but it retained the humanity from the corpse it grew off of (when it was resurrected after the events of “Revenge” it gained millions of years of knowledge and that’s why it knows how to speak English)

  Kane has shown that he does not want a &quot;end of the world&quot; type ending. He is working on a &quot;async shuts down&quot; one since the entire series revolves around them except for a couple videos<br><br>And also, that post was like in 2022, the series should have actually begun if its revolving around ASYNC, he could be talking about the movie characters. And finally the kaneverse continues as normal after 1990, which makes this already inaccurate

  I feel like the ending will be somewhat of the threshold nullzone closing, the nullzone itself because yes it is indeed a stable nullzone but what if it just stops, and the original area behind the door comes back like that pipe area or something with lotta pipes or something. <br>What if that happens?
