I grew up on lake mead and I remember when the wind blew hard the lake would become like an ocean 🌊 my moms leg bone went through her pelvis trying to hold our house boat from slamming into a canyon wall. This took place 56 years ago she has now passed at 96 years old 2025. My family started going to lake mead in 68 ish years ago. My dad built a good sized flat pontoon boat and we as a family traveled around the lake then of course he kept building better and better until we ended up with a houseboat moored at lake mead wash then he got a slip to put the house boat in. Later in years he got a plane a Cessna 210 because he got tired of driving back and forth from bellflower California. He was a fireman until he retired and we were still going back and forth. Many great memories were made on the lake. I really enjoy following you guys and you do a great job! ❤
