  My dad accidentally got me and him midnight tickets from the theater. His initial plan was to get me out of school early to see it at noon but when he realized it was a midnight premiere, we got up at 11 and drove to the theater it was electric. So many people dressed up and the manager dressed as Darth Vader. It was the best movie experience I’ve had a theater

  I'll never forgot when my parents lied to me and my school about picking me up earlier for a "Dentist appointment" only to pull up to a theater to watch episode 3 a week after release.

  seeing the Mustafar playset actually being played with and not just boxed up on a store shelf with my dad over my shoulder telling me money don’t grow on trees is a very fulfilling feeling

  My core memory of RoTS was the day it came out, my neighbor friends were going that night to see it and they invited me. The hype was REAL! We had all the toys, all the lightsabers, we’ve been reenacting Episode 1 and 2 fights daily. We were READY! &nbsp;We were all so excited, I ran back to our apartment and begged my parents to let me go see the movie with my friends, they said; no. I was shocked, upset, torn! How could they do this to me?? I begged and cried and they kept saying no, until finally, FINALLY my dad said yes. But there was something off about the way he said yes, he didn’t seem annoyed or angry with my constant begging, he seemed upset. Not upset with me though. I walked away feeling odd. I went back to my friends and they asked if I got the okay to come with them, I told them yes, but I wasn’t gonna go. They couldn’t believe what I just said, and an hour later I watched them leave to see the biggest movie of our generation. That day, in my little 10 year old brain, I realized that my dad was upset because he wanted to take me to see the movie, just him and I. He wanted to share this monumental moment with just the two of us. It’s hard to state how big this movie was to anybody who wasn’t there, it was like the moment two generations converged, it was nuts. And thankfully my little trog brain could see how much this meant to my dad. I went back home that night ashamed of how I acted so selfishly. Even knowing I was gonna get spoiled at school about the movie didn’t mean anything anymore. It was about my dad at this point. The next weekend he surprised me with tickets, we went to a small dumpy $5 theater in Southern Cali, he bought me a little theater kid snack box that had popcorn, a little drink, and a hersheys bar. We sat right dead center of the theater with the best view and we shared an incredible moment together and made a memory that I will never ever forget.<br><br>Update: Just watched the theatrical re release! This time I got to see RoTS on the big screen with all of my friends, my wife, and my mom and dad! It was a great night 😊

  Fun fact on that Anakin figure (also my first ROTS figure, along with the obi-wan) -- originally Anakin&apos;s saber was supposed to turn red during his battle with Obi-Wan. I think that stayed pretty far into production which is why the figure initially had the saber. After they cut it, the next run of figures replaced that with the Dooku saber so it was accurate to the movie

  Before seeing ROTS as a kid, I imagined how Vader got into the suit. Towards the beginning of movie, Anakin got so badly injured that he needed to be inside the suit to survive and the entire movie dealt with his struggles of his new lifestyle which eventually made him vulnerable to corruption to the dark side.
