  Andor is ass and I'm tired of people telling me it's not. It's a prequel to a prequel in-between the original prequels and the original trilogy.

  In my opinion, the best thing Andor did was force the viewer to understand this world on a fundamental and almost boring level.<br>When you understand how this world actually works, you begin to care more about every character, good or evil.

  Fun fact, according to Tony Gilroy himself Kathleen Kennedy actually never spoke up against him. Usually writers get letters to change things that are too drastic but Gilroy didn&apos;t get a single letter

  My 13 year old little sister happened to walk in on my first viewing of the 3rd episode of Andor S1 and immediately got invested. She watched it until the end and freaking loved it.<br><br>Somehow my younger sister has a better attention span then a whole horde of goobs online who cry if they don&apos;t get their precious lightsabers or force powers.<br><br>God, Andor is fantastic.

  One of my favorite nuances regarding the early part of the show is both the old corporate police chief and Cyril were right. Cyril was young, ambitious, and wanted to solve a murder. That’s a noble aspiration. The seasoned police chief, on the other hand, knew exactly what happened, he knew the two cops were crooked and probably harassed someone they shouldn’t have, and Cyril’s zeal brings down the empire on their sector, exactly like he said it would. This is a character that literally has 2 scenes and like 5 lines, it’s great.

As much as people hate Kathleen Kennedy, ultimately she usually let&apos;s these creative do whatever they want. Andor wouldn&apos;t have gotten made unless Disney had the property and definitely wouldn&apos;t have gotten made had Gilroy had to go through Filoni. Gilroy personally knowing Kathleen Kennedy is what gave us Andor. Disney Star Wars didn&apos;t &quot;fail&quot; because they weren&apos;t allowed to be creative, it&apos;s because they allowed the wrong people to be in charge.

  This isn&apos;t really related but it&apos;s crazy that Lucasfilm sold for 4 billion. That sounds like a lot but that&apos;s how much a single team in the NFL costs. Seriously, which one would you rather buy? Star Wars, or the Cleveland browns?
