This movie is good the first time you watch it. It’s great and creepy the second time you watch it and understand.

One of my faves. Lol I interpret the line about the recruiter being Black speaks to Kevin's percieved progressivness of a big city like New York.

What a fantastic job with your analysis. Delighted that you could react to this movie. It has been one of my favorites forever. The 80’s is when Hollywood started the age of “The Thrillers.” Several others are of this caliber:
1. The invisible man, Elisabeth Moss
2. Unlawful Entry, Ray Liotta.
3. Devil, M.Night Shalaman
4. The Game, Michael Douglas
5. Internal Affairs, Richard Gere & Andy Garcia.
All are of the same quality. Keep up your great commentary.

Great reaction! Enjoy your intelligent commentary. This is one of my fave movies, a go-to when I want to put on something while I'm doing other stuff. Looking forward to the next one.

I love this movie, from what I heard it didn't do great when it first came out but has been growing a cult following and for good reason
