"NOW a warning?!?" is my favourite Meryl Streep line delivery, ever. 👏🏼😂

One of the best things about being an adult is you can decorate your house (and set) however you want, whenever you want.

One little bit of trivia stuck out to me. Goldie Hawn's character said that she took the potion on October 26, 1985. That's the same date Marty McFly needed to get back to in Back to the Future! I always remember that date because it was my 22nd birthday!

19:25 The way Bruce Willis screams at various points in the movie are pure comedy gold, he does it so well!

It won the Oscar for Best Visual Effects, beating out ALIEN 3 and BATMAN RETURNS.
Meryl Streep got hit in the face with a shovel during filming by Goldie Hawn, and even said in an interview, "Working on that movie was like working at the dentist office!" She vowed to never work on another Effects heavy movie ever again.

I love that those two women who hate each other so much call each other Mad and Hell 😏

Also at the party was Andy Warhol and Marilyn Monroe. At the pool after he fell in was Jim Morrison.

Ernest saw the dangers of living forever without a purpose. If his only purpose was to maintain the appearances of those two women, death was preferable. After escaping, he lived his life. He got remarried, had his children, had adventures, told the truth in the form of stories regarding the living dead of Beverly Hills. In the end, Ernest would be remembered for generations while Madeline and Helen are forgotten and falling apart.

If the potion did end up spilling in the pool, it would be very diluted. You need a good does to get immortality so a dip in that pool might have just rejuvenated him a little and given him the energy to live the next 37 years to the fullest.

When this movie came out the special effects were an amazing achievement. Today it would all be just basic CGI.
