They missed the car that I stumbled upon. The 2006-2010 Hyundai Azera.Bought my 2007 9 years ago with 117k on it. Today I have 214k on it. I know of 4 2007's with 300k on thiem that are still running. Smooth, powerful, luxurious. Far more reliable than anything else Hyundai has made. One auto journalist said it's only real competitor... is the Avalon.

The plastic intake manifold on the 4.6 isn't a cheap fix. You have to replace the manifold with one that is aluminum. Mine was<br>$1,200 and I had gotten a break on the labor to boot!! But,it has to be done. There ain't any fixing the old one. Mine is a 2000 Lincoln Towncar.

"Nobody wants them" = everybody now wants them, and if you can find one, they sure as h aren't dirt cheap anymore.

ive got a '99 buick regal .. its got 340k miles ... everyone here faffed when i brought it here with 90k ... still gets 30mpg

The conversion kits for the Lincoln Towncars aren't needed. They run with parts and labor about 700-800 dollars. For LESS than that you can just replace the air bags on the suspension. And no,it doesn't have the same ride. You can tell the difference. My 2000 Lincoln Towncar had new air suspension put on the rear because it was cheaper. Parts are plentiful.
