"There are as many ways to recover as there are individuals" made me cry. I have horrid religious trauma, and people often advertise AA as the "only" option - no hate towards AA but it just f*s me up and triggers me really badly. This time around I´ll go the SMART route. I finally feel human instead of some disgusting, poor hellspawn.

Who wouldn't Love "the Smart Recovery discount",she was really thankful for his help.And that is worth crying over!!!! But I can't cry I've got makeup on and the fact that he's now in touch with his grandkids is now worth the world.

Beautiful video! I found it inspiring. I really enjoyed the gas can scene. Yes, he was probably out of gas, and was going to fill up the can after the meeting. But it could have also been symbolic. "We all feel empty at times."

Going to my first ever meeting of any type of addiction, mine is alcohol, porn and phone addiction. In preparing for this, I've been looking at the literature on the website and taking some actions. This movie was quite powerful, I'm tearing up writing this comment actually. <br><br>I sure hope this SMART recovery, scratch that, I sure hope I have the follow-thru and drive and discipline to make better choices. I am hopeful to live a better life free of addiction. I don't want to lose it all.
