utah just took the number one spot in the nation for overdoses and pain pills adiction. I'm 6 years clean from heroin, hardest thing I've ever had to do. constant battle.

I also was a meth addict for over 15 years, I have been clean and sober for 9 years, although I still think about it daily and even get urges to do it But I am able to stay strong because of God Love, he has answered my prayers and saved me because I know I was headed to death at the pace I was going, Glory to our Loving God. KEEP PUSHING FORWARD. I was hooked on everything for 27 years. I will have 11 years sober on August 16th. I'm so proud of everyone who is or is trying to be sober. What I great triumph to over come a horrible evil. Congrats to you all.

I don’t know, but the daughter sitting there next to her, listening to all of this really bothers me.😢 There’s no need at that age to hear these things.

I am a recovering meth addict. Never knew what meth was till my ex boyfriend made me try it! I am going through withdrawal now. I pray nobody even tries it once. It is so painful. Please everyone keep me in your prayers. I want my normal life again.

The girl at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_1L4oH-RJg&t=693">11:33</a> is spot on. My sister is an addict and is always looking externally for happiness. No love or joy from within. Always thinking the grass is greener. It isn't.

And I just hate the way mental health and self-medication - which are huge issues in addiction - are just glossed over. Our society has so many misconceptions.
