  The Tenerife crash is forever fascinating to me. It’s like fate had out for these victims on that day. From the bombing, to the fueling, to the fog, to the language barrier, to the static caused by interference over the radio frequency, to the unrealistic runway exit assigned to the pan-am plane to exit the runway, and to the heavyweight of the KLM due to the refueling making a quick roll maneuver to avoid the pan-am impossible, to the extra fuel intensifying the post crash fire. Dang!! These people could not catch a break. This is something straight out of a “Final destination” movie, yet it’s as real as it gets. This is something straight sad and my heart goes out to tall the victims and their families 🙇🏾‍♂️

  My aunt’s former collegue was on the LaudaAir flight. She was a nurse, then changed careers and trained as a flight attendant. This was her first intercontinental flight, and she was really looking forward to it. <br>But apart from that, I feel that is really a bit of a national trauma 🙈 Or it was for long.

  I&apos;m only a couple minutes in, but Petter, I know now why you instruct pilots... &nbsp;While thrust reversers are a generally a mundane topic, you &nbsp;had me engaged at the start and actually listening/paying attention..

  Hong Kong-Bangkok-Vienna with only two pilots. Something that would be completely unthinkable today—thank God.

  That progress strip at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sc_eVynrtgw&amp;t=2415">40:15</a> .. Brymon. My dad was a fireman at Plymouth city airport for Brymon airways for many years. As a kid i got to fly in the cockpits of their Dash 7&apos;s on several occasions. They would even let me do things like change the altitude on the autopilot in flight. Can you imagine &nbsp;that happening today? lol

  Cool to be able to just go blind into an accident report and piece together what it&apos;s about while Petter provides exposition. The USAIR 1493 was wild to listen to without seeing the thumbnail, vid title, or anything - when he talked about the various lights on a plane and the fire retardant standards my jaw dropped.

It&apos;s pretty much requiring pilots to make bad decisions!! Pilots shouldn&apos;t have to worry about losing their job for things out of their control such as delays!!!<br>I could slightly understand if it only included air time excluding delays... but nooooo we can&apos;t have pilots who aren&apos;t stressed beyond recognition!!!
